(AseanAll) — Cambodia and Malaysia have discussed bilateral cooperation, including digital, artificial intelligence (AI), and cybersecurity, to foster cooperation in the sectors between the two countries.
The discussion took place between Chea Vandeth, Cambodia Minister of Post and Telecommunications, and Shaharuddin Onn, Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia, in Phnom Penh, on August 8, 2025.
Chea Vandeth informed the Malaysian diplomat that he will lead his delegation to attend the ASEAN summit on AI to be hosted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on August 11-12.
He also thanked Malaysia for its efforts in finding solutions through the ceasefire agreement between Cambodia and Thailand, under the initiative of the U.S. and the active participation of China.
